Peter Liepke makes photography for the sake of making art. Nothing more. The best part is that he does it because he has to. And he uses a 100 year-old Graflex sheet camera and 19th century printing processes. He also makes handmade, closed-corner custom wood frames. How many photographers can we say that about? Aside from the fact that we get to view the kind of photos that such a process achieves, Peter's craft comes from a unique and creative vision that only a true artist could possess. I feel lucky to feature his work here, and want to let it speak for itself.
